The picturesque King Valley on the lower slopes of Victoria’s Alps is recognised for producing wines of high quality and finesse. In terms of Australian wine making history the King Valley is a relatively new region, although vines have been grown in the valley since early settlement. The elevation, climate and soils of the region contribute to the production of wines with a degree of elegance which is one of the characteristics of cool climate wines.
